can we reduce greenhouse gas emission(Carbon footprint)

Yes we can reduce greenhouse gas emission by following simple things.
Greenhouse gas emission is non preventable process. It happens every where even without our concern. Emission happens as per both natural and human activities.
Ocean evaporation, forest's through decay, respiration of living organisms, like natural process and burning fossil fuels, decay of organic waste in municipal solid waste landfills, like human activities emit greenhouse gases.
Do you know, burning of fossil fuels increase the greenhouse gas emission.

When do we emit greenhouse gases
type 1
1. Consume electricity(burn hydrocarbons)
2. Transportation, other than foot cycle(burn hydrocarbons)
3. decay of organic waste in municipal solid waste landfills(produce methane during anaerobic condition)
4. Deforestation and wildfire.
5. Use of perfume fragrance(CFC, HCFs, halons).

type 2
1. Use polythene bags(burn hydrocarbons on processing)
2. Eating fast foods(easy foods) other than organic foods, etc..
3. Eat red meat(beef, pork,..)

How can we reduce, greenhouse gas emission

By reducing Consume of electricity will reduce fossil fuel consumption and it will reduce greenhouse gas emission(CO2)
1. Buy energy efficient appliances with the "Energy Star" label.
2. Unplug your cell phone charger and other electronic devices from the switch when you are not using them. Not only will this save energy, but it will save you money.
3. If you're leaving your computer for a while, put it on stand-by. You'll be able to restart it quickly, and it'll take less energy than shutting it down and then restarting it.

different types of transportation ways will reduce fossil fuel consumption and it will reduce greenhouse gas emission(CO2)
5. Ride a bike, or walk for small distances other travel by a vehicle.
6. Use as much as Public transportation other than drive your own vehicle.

Use renewable energy sources for cooking other than burning wood, fossil fuels, natural gases and it will reduce greenhouse gas emission(CO2)
7. Use of bio gas,   As always, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! Plastics, cardboard, and paper are all recyclable.

Reduce the amount of red meat in your diet.
8. Methane is the number 1 producer of greenhouse gasses,
and reducing meat in your diet is a healty way to help.
9. Reduce, CO2 emission during food processing for animal diets.

Plant short harvesting crops or cultivate vegetables other than flowering plants. Also, it will absorb tons of carbon dioxide in its lifetime.

Do you emit Greenhouse gases

What is Green house gas effect?
Green house gases are gases which trap radiation in the atmosphere. The part of  radiation comes from the sun to the earth, absorb by the atmosphere while the other part loss to the space. Such gases help to maintain surface temperature of the earth.
There are well known green house gases being defined,
Carbon Dioxide(CO2), Water(H2O), Methane(CH4), Nitrous Oxide(N2O), Ozone(O3), Halogenated  flurocarbons (HCFS)).

What increase, the green house gas effect?
Green house gas emission happens due to both natural and human activities.
Burning fossil fuels(release of CO2, CO, Hydrocarbons), deforestation(less CO2 can be consumed by photosynthesis), Land filling with organic waste(CH4 release during anaerobic digestion process  ), population growth(consume more and more energy), even during the respiration of living organisms.

How does green house effect happens?
Earth receives most of its energy, from the Sun. This energy is electromagnetic radiation in the form of Visible light, Infrared (IR) and Ultraviolet (UV) radiation. The Earths' surface absorbs the solar energy and  releases it back to the atmosphere as Infrared (IR) radiation, some of which goes right back into space.
But some of the IR radiation emitted by the Earth is absorbed by greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and sent back towards the Earth's surface and this warms the Earth's surface.
These gases absorb the infrared radiation emitted by the Earth and re-radiate the energy as heat back towards the Earth, causing a warming known as the greenhouse effect.

Do we emit Greenhouse gases?
Before we ask this question ourselves, we need to understand where, why, how and when this emissions take place.
example;
Each and every one of us consume, some sort of energy during our life time.
Where?
During the consume of electricity
Why?
We consume electricity generated by coal, petroleum power plants
When?
During the burning of fossil fuels
How?
Burning of fossil fuels produce billion tons of green house gases such as CO2, CO, CH4....
